Hat's Off to You!

Care for a piece of St. Vital Centre? Coming soon to the ReStore!Care for a piece of St. Vital Centre? Coming soon to the ReStore!

While we re-work our wardrobes for spring, St. Vital Centre is getting ready for a makeover of their own. Over the next nine months, St. Vital Centre will be giving their food court and other common areas a fresh design update. Along with making the Centre cozier for shoppers, the shopping mall has made it a priority to go green (this is the part where we come in!).

Along with listing the help of Montreal's GH+A Design to be sure that they reach the Canada Green Building Council LEED-CI designation, the St. Vital Centre is going a step further by donating all of their reusable items from the renovation to the Winnipeg ReStore.

We extend a big thank you to St. Vital Centre for their contribution to the ReStore and for doing their part in preserving our environment! Kudos!

Habitat for Humanity Manitoba is feeling very fortunate that Mark's Work Warehouse has one awesome return policy, and the timing couldn't be better with Blitz Build coming up fast!

This month, Mark's Work Wearhouse decided to do something to benefit the community by making three large donations of returned safety boots in a variety of styles and sizes to Habitat for Humanity Manitoba. Now, when volunteers come to build, we will have a broader selection of safety boots to loan for the day if they do not have a pair of their own. This gesture has saved us thousands of dollars and has come from all of the Mark's Work Wearhouse stores across Winnipeg. Thank you Mark's!

Gary & Suzanne

A big congratulations is in order for Gary and Suzanne, who recently made their last mortgage payment on their Habitat home! The family purchased their home back in 1996 and now, 16 years later, they are truly official homeowners!

Congratulations Gary and Suzanne from everyone at Habitat for Humanity Manitoba!
