HFHW receives $5000 grant from Manitoba Real Estate Association (MREA) Shelter Foundation

Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg was one of four worthy recipients to recently receive a grant from the MREA Shelter Foundation. The amount of $5000 will go to Habitat's Virden Chapter, helping to build more homes in rural Manitoba.

Granted registered charitable status in 2007, the Manitoba Real Estate Association Shelter Foundation has made remarkable progress in its short existence which has raised $161,000 since its inception.

Habitat appreciates and is honoured for being chosen as one of the year's grant recipients.

Helping hands for Habitat's Community Outreach program.

HFHW is very appreciative of volunteers' time and effort who lend their helping hands to its Community Outreach program. Being tradeshow booth attendants or making presentations, volunteers serve an important function of informing and creating awareness about HFHW to the general public.
